Driven was born in 2006, thanks to the merging of the experience of three companies such as NPS, OCS and Driven Automation - headquarters in Cinisello Balsamo, Milan,Italy - and especially from an intuition of Maurizio Cinti,
an entrepreneur with a wide experience in the plastic cards market and in that of products for appropriate cards handling.
This intuition led him to start a project that later turned out in the first prototype of a device - the DRVM 150 - that is able to carry out all the mailing cards-related functions.
In 2008, following an internal reorganization, Driven moves its operational headquarters to Catania and acquires new skills and know-how by engaging new technicians - with a huge experience in industrial automation and machine vision - within its staff.
The company organization changes, moving from a vertical structure (specialized in plastic cards related products) to an horizontal one, with the creation of three new divisions:
- Driven Cards (Plastic Cards);
- Driven Machine Building (Automation);
- Driven Vision (Machine Vision)
Pursuing the approach of continuous improvement of its services, Driven achieved in September 2008, the ISO9001-2008 certification. |
